Direct and Indirect Light
Temperature varies and can be measured. Temperature is a measure of how hot or cold something is (thermal energy). Temperature is measured in degrees using a thermometer. The liquid in a thermometer expands when heated and measures the temperature of its surroundings. Temperature on a given day or in different locations may vary due to the conditions on that day. Air temperature can be measured using the Fahrenheit or Celsius scales.
